Civic Center Park in Palm Desert

Come sketch at Civic Center Park in Palm Desert. We will be in the area near the intersection of San Pablo and Fred Waring. Meet on the bridge over the ponds by the amphitheater. There is plenty to draw in the park, with walking paths, structures, public art, the lake, water birds and walkers. There are shady spots to be found. A stool is recommended so you can sit in a comfortable spot.

Meet on the bridge at 10 am. I will be there with my beige straw hat and a sketchbook. 

Usually the weather in the desert cooperates with scheduled sketch events, however it’s a good idea to check this listing the day of the event in case it has to be cancelled because of rain, wind, or other unforeseen conditions.  Any changes or cancellations will be posted by 7 am.
