An urban sketch is a drawing created on location, indoors or out, capturing what the sketcher sees from direct observation. Urban sketchers use any kind of media to tell the story of their surroundings, the places they live, and where they travel.
As an official chapter of Urban Sketchers International we follow their Manifesto and Code of Conduct listed below.

- 4.) We are truthful to the scenes we witness.
- 5.) We use any kind of media and cherish our individual styles.
- 6.) We support each other and draw together.
- 7.) We share our drawings online.
- 8.) We show the world, one drawing at a time.
All participants in official USk activities are expected to:
- Contribute to a welcoming and supportive community experience.
- Treat others with dignity, respect, and professionalism.
- Communicate constructively, honestly, and courteously.
- Foster an inclusive environment that values diverse backgrounds, perspectives, identities, and experiences.
- Follow applicable laws, venue requirements, and USk policies.
- Act with integrity and show respect for volunteers, organizers, instructors, staff, and fellow participants.
