Urban Sketchers Palm Springs is an official chapter of the global group Urban Sketchers, an international non-profit dedicated to sketching on location. Our sketch locations include Palm Springs, Palm Desert, Rancho Mirage, Indian Wells, La Quinta and occasionally further afield. Our local group is organized by volunteers who love to draw on location.
We practice on-location sketching at various locations, days, and times in and around the Coachella Valley.
All you need to do to join us is to show up at a meetup. Bring a pencil, pen, watercolors, or whatever portable tools you use. Come with an attitude of discovery and experimentation. There are no critiques or judgement. We are all learning
