Sketch the Cabazon Dinosaurs

Come sketch the world famous Cabazon dinosaurs, a roadside attraction featuring two enormous steel-and-concrete dinosaurs, a 150-foot-long brontosaurus and a 65-foot-tall tyrannosaurus rex set against the backdrop of the mountains. The two large dinosaurs are free to view while the nearby Dinosaur Museum houses many more dinosaurs with an admission of $11 – $15. Meet in front of the brontosaurus at 10 AM
This area is a typical desert roadside with defunct fast food restaurants, gas stations, power lines, big skies, mountain views, but with two big cheesy dinosaurs. This will flex your sketching skills. There is a large parking lot by the dinos. A stool is recommended so you have a place to sit as you sketch. It is cooler in Cabazon than the low desert so bring a jacket. It can be very windy in Cabazon so check this listing the day of the event to check if it is still on.
The dinosaurs are a 30 minute drive from downtown Palm Springs and about ten minutes from the Cabazon outlets.
