Street Corner Sketching at the Thompson in Palm Springs

Come sketch on Palm Canyon in front of the Thompson Hotel in Palm Springs.  This stretch includes wide sidewalks that are shaded by the Thompson during the morning hours so it’s comfortable even on a hot morning.  Across the street are a mix of restaurants and small shops to draw.  A stool is handy for sketching here so you can choose your location.  There is street parking nearby.  Meet near the driveway to the Thompson on Palm Canyon.

Usually the weather in the desert cooperates with scheduled sketch events, however it’s a good idea to check this listing the day of the event in case it has to be cancelled because of rain, wind, or other unforeseen conditions.  Any changes or cancellations will be posted by 7 am.
