Sketch at Coachella Valley History Museum in Indio

Come sketch and learn about the history of the Coachella Valley and the Date Palm industry. There are many outdoor and indoor views to sketch, including a historic schoolhouse, a water tower, gardens, and history displays.  We will be joining the Desert Plein Air Association that day. Note the early start time to beat the heat.  Parking is across the street from the museum grounds. Bring a stool to sit on.

Usually the weather in the desert cooperates with scheduled sketch events, however it’s a good idea to check this listing the day of the event in case it has to be cancelled because of rain, wind, or other unforeseen conditions.  Any changes or cancellations will be posted by 7 am.
